Logic Node
The Logic Node allows you to automatically route the workflow message based on variable arguments. The node supports simple logic operators based on the data type selected and multiple can be combined together using AND or OR statements.
General Settings
Variable: Use the drop down to select an available variable to test against
comparison Operator: Choose a predefined operator to test the variable. Operators are based on the data type of the variable selected
- String - tests are case sensitive (for example, "Computer" and "computer" are two different words because the "C" is uppercase)
- = Equal to
- ≠ Not equal
- Contains - checks if the variable contains the string specified
- Number
- = Equal to
- ≠ Not equal
- > Greater than
- < Less than
- ≥ Greater than or equal to
- ≤ Less than or equal to
- Date
- Before
- After
- On
- Boolean
- True
- False
Value: The value to be compared. This field will change based on the data type selected
AND: Click on the "+ AND" button to add an AND condition. "AND" condition signifies that BOTH conditions will be required for the result to return TRUE
OR: Click on the "+ OR" button to add an OR condition. "OR" condition signifies that only ONE of the conditions must be met for the result to return TRUE
