The Import Field Values tab is used to import form data into a specific PDF form. The job will take any found field values (.fdf, .xfdf, .xdp, .xml) and import them into the selected PDF document. After the field values have been imported, there are options for routing of the output file. The tab has the following sections:
Merge PDF - The full path to the source PDF form that the fields values should be imported to.
Note: This directory is local to where the server is running not the PAS Manager and so the file path must follow the format set by the OS of the server.
Use field value as filename - Check this option if you wish to use a value from a field within the document to name the exported file. Click on "Choose Field" to pick from a list of available fields in the document.
Paint Buttons - Check this option to paint buttons directly on the document.
Paint Non Printable Fields- Check this box to paint non-printable fields in the output flattened PDF document. Non-printable fields are those with the "Printable" flag set to false or visibility set to "Show/Do not Print".
This section determines what happens once the PDF document has successfully been processed. If the processing fails for any reason the document will instead rout the document using the settings set in the Trouble Handling tab.
