If your license doesn't work when you try to enter it in the registration dialog, it could for for one of the two reasons below:

1. You purchased a license key for PDF Studio 6 and are running an older version of PDF Studio.

Double-check the version number on the title bar of PDF Studio frame. If the version number is lower than PDF Studio 6, make sure to download the latest version of PDF Studio from our download page.

2. You purchased a license key for a previous version of PDF Studio and are now running the newer version PDF Studio 6.

After downloading and installing PDF Studio 6, your license key from a previous version of PDF Studio might not work anymore. This is because with version 6, we have finally changed our keys (they had stayed the same for the last 2 years and customers have enjoyed free upgrades during that time). As a favor to existing recent customers, we have kept license keys less than 1 year old compatible with the new version but older license keys will not work anymore.

You can upgrade to version 6 for a fee of $40 from our online store by choosing the option: "Upgrade from Standard to Pro". You will need to enter your previous PDF Studio key. By purchasing PDF Studio 6, you will be entitled to all minor and major updates 6.xx.
