The Change Permissions tab is used in jobs that want to set the permission settings of a PDF file. The tab allows the user to set options regarding how to set the permissions and then allows for routing of the output file after optionally changing its name. The tab has the following sections:
- - Use this section to enter passwords to open the document if the document is password protected. If the document is not password protected, leave this section un-selected.
- - Use this section to set the security settings to apply before saving the document. The section has the following options:
- - The "Open" password is required to be able to open the document.
- - The Permissions password is required to change the permissions of a document.
- - Permissions are a set of flags that allow or disallow performing various functions with the document, such as printing, extracting content, et
- - Use this section to print the PDF file as part of processing it.
- - Use this section to change the name of the PDF file before saving.
- - Use this section to save the file to a folder after setting the permissions.
- - Use this section to send the file to an FTP server after setting the permissions.
- - Use this section to send the file by e-mail after setting the permissions.
