The Add Watermark tab is used to add a text or image watermark to PDF files. The tab allows the user to set options regarding the watermark and then allows for routing of the output file after optionally changing its name. The tab has the following sections:
- - Use this section to set options regarding the watermark that will be applied to the PDF documents. The section has the following options:
- - Use this section to determine the watermark location on the page and its appearance (rotation and transparency).
- - Specify the pages where the watermark should be applied on the PDF documents. Options are All Pages, Even Pages, Odd Pages, First Page, Last Page or a selected Page Range.
- - Choose if it's a text or image watermark by selecting the appropriate radio button.
- For a Text Watermark: Enter the text for the watermark and choose the font properties (name, size, bold, italic), foreground and background color and border as well as the horizontal alignment (the alignment is used for multiple lignes watermark only). You can insert dates, page numbers, Bates numbers or special fields (such as file name, hour, etc..) by clicking on the buttons 'Date', 'Page Number', 'Bates Number' or 'Other' respectively.
- For an Image Watermark: Choose an image file and the scale at which the image should be resized for the watermark.
- Click on the button to preview the watermark on a PDF document of your choice.
- - Use this section to print the PDF file as part of processing it.
- - Use this section to change the name of the PDF file before saving.
- - Use this section to save the file to a folder after setting the permissions.
- - Use this section to send the file to an FTP server after setting the permissions.
- - Use this section to send the file by e-mail after setting the permissions.
