- Existing customers update to the new version for free, please contact us to get a license key for this new version. We have changed our installer and thus recommend that you uninstall the older version before installing the new one. Unless you are running Windows Vista, your settings, logs and jobs will be preserved automatically. Vista customers, please be advised that the application data was moved under ProgramData, contact us to get more information.
- New Split between PDF Automation Server on the server side and PDF Automation Manager on the client side. This allows to setup PDF Automation as a service running on the server and monitor the jobs progress from any remote client machine.
- New Added new Text to PDF Job for converting text files to PDF documents.
- New Added new Preflight Job to preflight PDF documents against PDF/X profiles and generate preflight reports. This job allows for specifying different output based on the preflight results.
- New Edit Document Properties Job now allows to set PDF documents initial layout and magnification settings: navigation tab, page layout, magnification, open to page.
- New Added ability to specify an order when processing zip files (alphabetical or by timestamp).
- New Added ability to process files in order in a watch folder (alphabetical or by timestamp).
- Improvement Improved graphical user interface.
