Text Selection & Text Markup Tools : Highlight, CrossOut, Underline, Squiggly Underline
To select text on the page, from the top toolbar, click on the Select button (see above) then drag the mouse around the desired rectangle text area. All the text contained in the area will be selected. When right-clicking on the mouse (Mac: Ctrl + left click), a menu will appear giving you the choice to:
- Copy the selected text to the Clipboard. Once the text is copied to the clipboard, you can paste it into any text or Word document by simply right-clicking (Mac: Ctrl + left click) on the mouse and choosing the Paste option in the mouse menu.
- Highlight the selected text.
- Underline the selected text
- CrossOut the selected text
- Squiggly underline the selected text
To exit the selection mode, simply click on the hand icon. 
To highlight text in a page, click on the Highlight icon on the annotation toolbar 
, then select the desired rectangular text area on the page by dragging the mouse. Once you release the mouse, a property dialog will open. Select the color of the highlight and add any comment in the content area then click on the Save button.
All text contained in the rectangular area will be highlighted.
To remove or edit a text highligh, click on the mouse icon , select the highlight by clicking on it, and right-click on the mouse (Mac: Ctrl + left click). The mouse menu will give you the option to open the properties dialog for the highlight or to simply delete the highlight.
To cross out text on a page, click on the Cross Out icon on the annotation toolbar 
, then select the desired rectangular text area on the page by dragging the mouse. Once you release the mouse, a property dialog will open. Select the color of the cross out and add any comment in the content area then click on the Save button.
All text text contained in the rectangular area will be crossed out.
To remove or edit a text cross out , click on the mouse icon , select the cross out by clicking on it, and right-click on the mouse (Mac: Ctrl + left click). The mouse menu will give you the option to open the properties dialog for the cross out or to simply delete the cross out.
To underline text on a page, click on the Underline icon on the annotation toolbar 
, then select the desired rectangular text area on the page by dragging the mouse. Once you release the mouse, a property dialog will open. Select the color of the underline and add any comment in the content area then click on the Save button.
All text text contained in the rectangular area will be underlined.
To remove or edit a text underline , click on the mouse icon , select the underline by clicking on it, and right-click on the mouse (Mac: Ctrl + left click). The mouse menu will give you the option to open the properties dialog for the underline or to simply delete the underline.
To underline text with a squiggly, click on the Squiggly Underline icon on the annotation toolbar 
, then select the desired rectangular text area on the page by dragging the mouse. Once you release the mouse, a property dialog will open. Select the color of the underline and add any comment in the content area then click on the Save button.
All text text contained in the rectangular area will be underlined with a squiggly.
To remove or edit a text squiggly underline , click on the mouse icon , select the squiggly underline by clicking on it, and right-click on the mouse (Mac: Ctrl + left click). The mouse menu will give you the option to open the properties dialog for the underline or to simply delete the underline.
