Editing actions of a bookmark
To create a new bookmark in a document that doesn't have any outlines defined yet, choose Document > Create Bookmark from the top toolbar. The application will display the Bookmark View on the left and create a new bookmark for the first page of the document. You can then continue to add to this bookmark to create the document oulines or bookmark tree.
To remove bookmark, right-click (Mac: Ctrl + left click) on the bookmark in the bookmark tree and choose the remove option in the bookmark menu.
To add a new bookmark in a document that already has outlines defined, right-click (Mac: Ctrl + left click) on one of the bookmarks in the bookmark tree at the location where you wish to add the new bookmark. The bookmark menu will display, choose the add option and choose whether you would like to add the new bookmark before the selected one, after the selected one or as a child to the selected one.

By default, the new bookmark created will be associated with a goto page action.

In the combo box, you can choose from the list of possible actions:

Typically a bookmark will only have one action associated with it and it will be a goto page action. Upon clicking on the bookmark, users are redirected to the page associated with the goto page action. However, in the PDF format definition, bookmarks can have many different actions associated with them: go to a page in another document, show or hide a form field, open a file, open a web link... If a bookmark has multiple actions associated with it, actions will be executed in the order they were added upon clicking on the bookmark.
To rename a bookmark, right-click (Mac: Ctrl + left click) on the bookmark in the bookmark tree and choose the rename option in the bookmark menu. The bookmark label will be given the focus and be editable. You can enter the new name for the bookmark.
